This Privacy Policy describes how App Manager for TV & Remote ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our Android mobile application (the "Application").
1. Information We Collect
We respect your privacy and design our Application to collect minimal personal data:
- Local Network Data: The Application scans your local Wi-Fi network solely to discover and establish a direct connection with your Android TV or Fire TV device over Android Debug Bridge (ADB) protocols. All communication stays entirely local between your mobile phone and your TV.
- Advertising Identifiers: The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect your device's Advertising ID (AAID) and non-personally identifiable diagnostic data to serve tailored or contextual ads.
- Consent Data: We use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to handle GDPR and privacy consent choices for users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK.
2. How Information Is Used
Information processed by the Application is used exclusively to:
- Enable local Wi-Fi connection, package management, APK installation, and remote control commands for your TV.
- Display ads via Google AdMob to support application development.
- Ensure compliance with regional privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

No External Server Processing: We do not operate remote servers that store, track, or collect your TV package lists, device IP addresses, or personal usage history. All TV management and ADB pairing configurations are processed locally on your device.

To provide its core functions, the Application requests the following Android system permissions:
- INTERNET & ACCESS_WIFI_STATE / CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE: Required to discover TV devices via mDNS and establish local ADB network sockets.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to maintain an uninterrupted connection during APK file uploads and remote pairing sessions.
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Optional): Used to display a floating remote control overlay button over other apps when enabled by the user.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display connection status and interactive pairing controls in the system notification shade.
