- Local Network Data: The Application analyzes your local Wi-Fi network strictly to discover, pair with, and send commands to your Smart TV, such as the local IP address, device name, and model. This information remains on your device and is not sent to external servers.
- Voice Input: If you use the voice search feature, audio data is temporarily processed by the standard Android speech recognition APIs solely to convert your speech into text.
- Technical and Performance Information: Non-identifiable information such as device model, operating system version, and error reports may be collected automatically to diagnose issues and improve application stability.
2. Permissions Requested
The Application requests only the permissions essential for its proper operation:
- Wi-Fi Network and Connection State: ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE, and INTERNET. These permissions are required exclusively to find and communicate with Smart TVs on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Vibration: VIBRATE. Provides haptic feedback when pressing the remote control buttons.
- Wake Lock and Boot: WAKE_LOCK and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED. Required for sleep timers and connection maintenance.
- Notifications: POST_NOTIFICATIONS. Displays timer alerts or connection status notifications.
